C’est jeudi (plus ou moins), c’est élections. La Basse-Normandie n’est pas juste la région des camemberts, mais également de Patsy Stone, et je ne parle pas seulement de ChelseaBoy mais bien de l’ex-meilleure amie de François B2, Nicole Ameline. Elle y est une des héritières du «système d’Ornano», le baron gaulliste local, qui continue, sous divers noms et étiquettes, de tenir résolument à droite une région conservatrice, paysanne et catholique qui et aussi celle du Débarquement et du discours de Bayeux. Une droite pas bien moderne: en 1997, Anne d’Ornano (veuve de) avait refusé de recevoir Michèle Demessine, la secrétaire d’Etat bolchevik au tourisme de Jospin.

It’s (sort of) Tuesday, it’s elections. Lower-Normandy is not only the region of camemberts, but also that of Patsy Stone, and I’m not only talking of ChelseaBoy but also the ex-bestfriend of François B2, Nicole Ameline. She is one the heirs of the “d’Ornano system”, from the name of the local Gaullist baron, that continues, under different names and labels, to hold firmly right-of-the-center a conservative, peasant, catholic region, where also took place the D-Day and Bayeux speech. Not such a modern right: in 1997, Anne d’Ornano (widow of), refused to greet the coming of Michèle Demessine, the Bolchevik state undersecretary for tourism in Jospin’s cabinet.
