Chaque mardi se tenait la r\u00e9union de service de la filiale dans laquelle on l’avait expatri\u00e9: D\u00e9part&Ment, NV. La directrice des ventes au d\u00e9tail, une quadra pro-active et corporate, s’\u00e9tait d\u00e9finitivement fait piquer la place \u00e0 la droite du Chef par le directeur des ventes en gros, un ancien militaire. Son secret: arriver 30 minutes en avance. Souvent, le directeur de la logistique ronchonnait dans sa barbe contre \u00ables p\u00e9d\u00e9s\u00bb de la direction du marketing, qui venaient toujours \u00e0 cinq et dissertaient interminablement, quoiqu’avec brio (ils \u00e9taient dans la comm’). Chaque semaine, l’un des directeurs sectoriels voulait de l’attention, et parlait 20 minutes du plus minime \u00e9v\u00e9nement \u00e0 son agenda. On craignait, en silence, qu’ils ne d\u00e9cidassent un jour de tous \u00e9voquer tout leur emploi du temps. Plus souvent qu’il n’aurait fallu, la conversation tombait sur l’\u00e9tat de sant\u00e9 d\u00e9sastreux de tel ou tel tiers; aucun d\u00e9tail n’\u00e9tait alors \u00e9pargn\u00e9 \u00e0 l’auditoire, qui disait \u00aboh…\u00bb moiti\u00e9 par ennui, moiti\u00e9 par curiosit\u00e9. Evidemment, les comptes-rendus restaient op\u00e9rationnels.

\nEach Tuesday the weekly meeting convene in the subsidiary in which he had been expatriated: Depart&Ment, NV. The Director, Retail, a proactive and corporate-minded fortysomething woman, had been permanently dispossessed of her seat right of the Boss by the Director, Wholesale, a former serviceman. His secret: Be 30 minutes ahead of meeting time. Quite often, the Director, Logistics grumble in his beards against the \u00ab\u00a0faggots\u00a0\u00bb of the Marketing division, would always came five, and disserted endlessly, though brilliantly (they were communication guys). Each week, one of the sectoral directors would try to get the limelight, and talk for 20 minutes of the most minor event on his\/her agenda. One feared, silently, that all of them would one day decide to talk about the whole of theirs schedules. More often than desirable, the talk was about the disastrous health of this or that other guy; no detail was then spared onto the audience, that hushed \u00ab\u00a0oh…\u00a0\u00bb being half bored, half curious. Evidently, the official summaries would remain operational. <\/p>\n
