L’autre jour, j’ai r\u00e9alis\u00e9 que mon trouble venait souvent d’\u00eatre \u00e0 un oc\u00e9an de pouvoir faire la m\u00eame chose que quelqu’un d’autre, sur un terrain pr\u00e9cis (ou vice-versa). D’\u00eatre non seulement beaucoup plus\/moins dou\u00e9, mais m\u00eame plus dans la m\u00eame \u00e9chelle. Il y a alors comme l’immense saut quantitatif d’un trait suppl\u00e9mentaire sur une graduation logarithmique dans tel domaine d’\u00e9rudition, dans la d\u00e9pravation, le talent, le go\u00fbt, la force, la classe, l’informatique, la cuisine. J’en ai parfois souffert, comme lorsque, \u00e0 l’\u00e9t\u00e9 2003, mes camarades de l’UEEH avaient moqu\u00e9 mon ing\u00e9nuit\u00e9 sexuelle alors que j’avais d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 bien au-del\u00e0 (quantit\u00e9 et \u00abqualit\u00e9\u00bb) de ce que r\u00e9serve la vie de beaucoup. R\u00e9trospectivement, avoir franchi quelques marques sur ce terrain-l\u00e0 abolit d\u00e9sormais toute fra\u00eecheur, et m’isole de tas de gens rest\u00e9s plus purs (au sens: faire le test de puret\u00e9 sur Internet). <\/p>\n

C’est mon pain noir hebdomadaire lorsque les the_bigger_splashes et leurs groupies inaugurent des looks-hallucinants-de-la-capitale, \u00e0 la page, alors que je ne suis qu’un suiviste approximatif. Inversement, les occasions de briller en parlant h\u00e9raldique ou Proust se font rares.

\nThe other day, it dawned on me that I often feel troubled because I’m an ocean away to be able to do the same as someone else, on a specific ground (or vice\/versa). To be not only more\/less gifted, but not even belong within the same scale. I’ve sometimes suffered from that, like when (it was summer ’03) my friends of the Homosexual Summertime Euro-Mediterranean University made fun of my sexual naiveness, even though I had already been much further (in quantity and \u00ab\u00a0quality\u00a0\u00bb) than what’s to happen in most people’s life. In retrospect, to have gone past certain poles on this field has also abolished all freshness, and has insulated me from those who remained purer (in the meaning of: making the purity test on the Internet). <\/p>\n

It’s my weekly brown-bread when the the_bigger_splashes and their groupies inaugurate their up-to-date incredible-metropolitan-looks, when I’m just an imprecise follower. On the other hand, occasions to talking glitteringly of heraldry and Proust have recently become scarce. <\/p>\n
